IMC Update #1 2007
- IMC Plans for 2007 - New York, Stockholm and more
Greetings,
a long time since my last newsletter to you. I've taken a vacation
from this newsletter as well as most work with the conference.
Another important factor is that I've taken up a fantastic
opportunity to represent the fastest growing Web Analytic Company
in Europe, Instadia - www.instadia.com.
Instadia is now my major source of work and it means that
as a producer of IMC, I'm getting the inside on how to work
within the Internet Marketing Industry (and not only talking
about "it" during our conferences :)).
In this issue:
~ Plans for The Internet Marketing Conference in 2007
~ Theme IMC 2007
~ Suggested Speakers and Topics 2007
~ IMC Update in 2007

==> PLANS FOR THE INTERNET MARKETING CONFERENCE IN 2007
http://www.internetmarketingconference.com
The plans for IMC in 2007 are as follows:
* IMC New York City June 5th 2007:
- In collaboration with my good friends Samuel Katanov and Lynn Bernstein we're producing
IMC's first show in United States since 2001. The same group
of people produced the first ever conference focused on Domain
Names in 2002, a groundbreaking
conference that has many followers today.
* IMC Stockholm November 29-30th 2007:
- A follow up on our huge success in 2006 that expands into
two days.
* IMC 24 hours - 365 days a year
- The planning for our online conference have made big progress
during the last 7 weeks since we had our Stockholm conference.
It's going to be a portal which aims to please people on
a daily basis with information about Internet Marketing on
a global and on a sector basis. All buildt up from the material
since IMC started in 1999 - a huge database of knowledge
that everyone will be able to access.
==> THEME IMC 2007
The theme for IMC in 2007 is "Content" and specifically "Your
Message to the Internet community".
A focus will also be on Mobile Platforms that are used to
access to the Internet such as Iphone and Blackberry - what
are the unique challenges in creating content for the Mobile
Internet?
Finally our continued quest for a trackable and measurable
Internet is going to continue - "how do you track if your
message is reaching out?".

==> IMC Update in 2007
Last year a recordbreaking of almost 50 newsletter were sent
out from us. Short snippets of what is happening on the Internet
combined with information of upcoming events.
The idea for 2007 is give you less of news but more focus
on those that seems really important - like Apple Iphone's
in this newsletter.
IMC Update in 2007 is going to continue to be your "up-to-the-minute" information
source on the most important Internet happening and with its
own analytical twist.
==> APPLE LAUNCES IPHONE
The first big news in 2007 is that Apple launched its mobile
phone. It seems of most comments that this might be the device
that finally gets Internet Mobile.
If you listen to Apple themselves the product is at least
as groundbreaking as iPod was. The interesting fact is that
most commentators tend to agree.
The obstacles that analysts see is that its highly priced
at US$ 499, that Apple has no previous experience within the
telecom sector and that its a long 6 months before it reaches
the stores.
